Celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi by creating your own eco-friendly Ganesh idol using terracotta clay. This workshop offers both a detailed multi-day option and a short one-day session, allowing you to sculpt a meaningful, biodegradable idol by hand.

What You’ll Do:

• Basics of sculpting with terracotta clay
• Techniques to create a hollow Ganesh idol (in 3-day option)
• Understanding proportion, shaping, and detailing of the idol
• Importance of drying process for clay idols
• Creating an eco-friendly idol suitable for visarjan

Please Note:

• Conducted approximately 1 month before Ganesh Chaturthi
• Material used: Terracotta clay
• Two options available:
  • 3-Day Workshop: Create a 1-foot (12-inch) hollow Ganesh idol
  • 1-Day Workshop: Create a 6-inch Ganesh idol
• Clay requires proper drying; it is recommended to complete the idol at least 10 days before Ganesh Chaturthi
• No baking/firing is included
• You will take home your handmade Ganesh idol
