Made from straws of the plant named sarkanda, the base of the muddha is from the sticks and the woven rope is from cloth. Generally, it’s the grass or leaves hats twined into a rope to weave. In this, we have a variation wherein we have used scraped fabric twisted into yarn and woven to form the seat part. This makes it look colorful and stylish from the traditional beige color of the muddha.
